Construction Mission Statement

Construction Department will engage facilities that will provide functional and creative environments to prepare all children to be successful citizens and workers in the twenty-first century…Whatever it takes.

The objectives of the department will be to:

• Establish construction standards to maximize 21st century technology
• Implement contracting systems for construction projects that maximize available resources
• Ensure quality school facilities to accommodate student growth
• Establish collaborative working relationships with all government entities within its boundaries.
• Maximize the joint use of resources with government entities to reduce costs
• Determine the need for additional space and if approved, obtain that space by relocating district owned leased portables
